“MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR, BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT, BISHOP FIELD OFFICE AND VALLEY OUTDOORS

Concerning: Building and sustaining a working relationship to further our mutual goals of public stewardship of public lands through restoration and maintenance efforts in accordance with the BLM Resource Management Plan (1993) as amended.

1. OBJECTIVE

This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) provides procedures and guidance for coordination and cooperation among the Bureau of Land Management Bishop Field Office (BLM) and the Valley Outdoors (VO) on restoration, maintenance, and monitoring efforts of mutual concern to these two participants.

The membership, organization, and activities of VO qualify it to perform certain tasks in partnership with BLM that further the mutual goals of restoration, maintenance and monitoring across the public lands managed by the Bishop BLM Field Office. These tasks are related to restoration, monitoring, maintenance, and other agreed upon activities. The tasks to be performed by VO under the provisions of this MOU will be in the nature of assistance to the BLM.……”
